This Gelidus Research AC Powered Glow Meter Plus board provisions:

• Direct USB ESP programming with a CH340 serial interface.
• Powerful ESP32S Dual Core 240Mhz 4MB Flash, BLE and WiFi module!
• PCB layout strictly follows ESP antenna specifications providing excellent WiFi range.
• 8 Pin Quick connects for collectors, Photo Diode, Wired, RS232, RS485.
• Pre-loaded ESPHome firmware with captive portal access enabled
• Powered directly from any US AC plug receptacle blades on the AC model (120 VAC).
• USB model can be USB powered or with 3.3v via an un-populated 5 pin header.
• Follows UL/CSA specifications.
• Optional 1 Meter Photo Detection sensor assembly.
• 3D printed protective enclosure.

• Glow Meter Plus Software:

The Gelidus Research AC powered glow meter plus sensor is designed to run on ESPHome frameworks. ESPHome integration with Home Assistant (HA) is ideal for providing a rich user interface. Adding the GREC1 to ESPHome and HA is easy using the preinstalled captive portal. Using any tablet or phone that identifies a captive portal you can link up the module without any serial firmware programming hassle’s. Once connected to your WIFI network you can interface to HA using one of the provided install guides.

Safety:

Never operate the Gelidus Research AC powered Glow Meter Plus sensor board without a protective enclosure, it will expose dangerous potential contact with your AC mains supply. We can supply a safety enclosure or you can download our 3D printable STL files for DYI projects.
